Palo Alto Networks was named a Challenger in the inaugural 2022 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Security Service Edge (SSE) report, recognized for our ability to execute.

This report represents the first time Gartner* has evaluated SWG, CASB, ZTNA and FWaaS point products collectively known as the security service edge (SSE). The SSE represents half of a comprehensive secure access service edge (SASE) architecture, which Gartner defines as the convergence of network and security as service capabilities, such as SD-WAN, SWG, CASB, NGFW and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).

A complete SASE architecture provides organizations with an agile approach to securing their users, applications and traffic everywhere. Read the report to better understand why SSE is an integral part of a complete SASE architecture.

We are more than proud of this recognition by Gartner. And we’re just getting started.
